Jesus spoke about His second coming which is not the same with rapture.

The second coming, He was talking to the jew about was how He will return with His saints

At that time, He will land on Mount olive where He ascended until the cloud took Him out of their sight.

Paul said we will not all sleep but be caught up and meet him in the cloud.

At rapture, Jesus is not touching his feet on earth. He will be in the cloud and saints Will meet Him both those who are already dead and those alive.

While in the cloud, the antichrist will rule the earth for 7 years.

It is after that the second coming when Jesus will come down to the earth to rule with His saints for a thousand year call millennium reign.

Paul was the one who received the revelation about rapture for the church.

It was given to Paul in 1 cor 15:51
“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.”

1 Thessalonians 4:16
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

ACT 1:9-

9And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

That means the same way He ascended.
