TOPIC: INCREASE

TEXT: 2 Chronicles 25:9 .

” And Amaziah said to the man of God , But what shall we do for the hundred talents which I have given to the army of Israel? And the man of God answered, The LORD is able to give thee much more than this.”

This is about the story of a king of Judah! He felt his own armies were too small, and so, he hired a hundred thousand fighting men from Isreal to join forces with him.

The Lord sent a prophet to warn him not to use those armies. otherwise, they would be defeated.

The king felt disappointed because he paid much money ???? to hire them and such money could not be refunded.

The prophet told the King that instead of disobeying the Lord, he should obey and trust The Lord to give him much more than he had spent.

He obeyed and told the armies to leave. Those armies angrily left because they felt he wasted their time.

The King went for the war with his small troop and won.

LESSONS:

1. God prefers QUALITY to QUANTITY

2. God does not want us to put confidence in what we have, but to trust Him with what we have.

3. Don’t continue disobeying because you have gone too far. Stop that sin, or it will stop you eventually.

4. Sometimes, victory comes after a great loss!

5. To obey is better than sacrifice!

6. Victories are hidden in corrections.

7. Don’t use your money to buy defeat.

8. Some assistance are resistance

9. Keep pleasing Him ☝️

10. The church you belong to, the king you fight under, can be the reason for your defeat, if he continues to disobey The ALMIGHTY GOD.

He ☝️ asked me to tell you!

God bless you! Your gates shall be opened continually!
