TOPIC: DISTINCTION
TEXT: ACTS 10:14-15
“But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.”
Peter went into a trance, and in the process, he saw unclean animals, and a voice told him to kill and eat.
Peter called those animals unclean or common. The Angel cautioned him not to call what God has cleansed common.
Whatever is not cleansed is considered common by God. Whatever is common is for everyone and for everything.
Whatever is common is not distinct, and whatever is not distinct is not easily noticed.
If someone asked you if you saw a stone on your way to office, I am sure you would wonder what sought of question that was.
Not because you didn’t see stones, but you didn’t notice them.
If you drive red Ferrari, it is possible you will easily notice any that drive past you.
If you put on what God is putting on, He will notice you.
Colossians 3:12-14
Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do .
Some believers make themselves so common that even Holy angels don’t notice them.
God say be ye Holy for I am Holy. You were made like God to be distinct and to be noticed by God.
2 Corinthians 6:17
” Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.”
There are believers who are beginning to re-model what things God separated them from when He took them from the kingdom of darkness.
They now practice it right in His kingdom. Aron used their gold to create a god for them right in the camp.
What God separated you from, what God intends to punish in the world, are you practicing the same in the Kingdom?
Please, leave speaking in tongues, please leave “I hear God”, please, leave “I saw a vision”, please leave “I did a miracle”…and let us face the truth…
Are you now practicing the same thing that God separated you from when He saved you?
Over the years, one of the truths I have found is that when something is really wrong with you, you won’t know.
The last agenda of the devil ???? in the last days is not to stop you from spiritual exercise but to add a mixture to the original you carry.
Once it is a mixture, it bears a new name that God doesn’t approve.
Even on your social media platform, don’t misrepresent God.
We are called to be separated unto our God. This is our reasonable service!
