TOPIC: OBEDIENCE PART 1
TEXT: 1 John 5:3
Obedience may be misinterpreted as the demand of God that is hard to carry out.
But on the contrary, The Lord Himself is showing us today that, OBEDIENCE is actually the permission we give God which gives Him room to perform what is the best for our lives.
That’s how He explained this to me.
Take for example, if you go to a barber’s shop to have your haircut and the barber ask you to bend your head a certain way, it is because he wants to shape your hair in the way that will make it look good on you.
Once the people of God interpret Obedience from difficulty perspectives rather than from the goodness perspective, it then becomes what we strive to do instead of what we enjoy doing.
John told us:
“For this demonstrates our love for God: We keep his commandments, and his commandments are not difficult,” 1 John 5:3
Another translation says:
“… And his commandments do not weigh us down,”
May you continually receive grace to be obedient in Jesus name!
What makes Obedience easy is kept inside Obedience
The Spirit of Obedience is The Spirit of Holiness
*Prayer/confession*: I thank you heavenly father because in Christ Obedience was made possible. I revenge every disobedience by my complete Obedience.
Prophetic: God will continually increase you in every little area you have remained Faithful. The key ? is now in your hand. I see you testifying. God says you will laugh. The Lord says to you, accommodation is being fixed.
