TOPIC: THE NEW BEGINNING
TEXT: Isaiah 43:18,19
The Lord is giving us a clear record of Himself today.
He says, another way to say “THE NEW BEGINNING” is to say *THE NEW BEGINS* .
God doesn’t fight to end something. Whenever God wants to end something, what He simply does is to begin something new.
It is the Emmergence of THE NEW that should FACE OUT the old.
Many Christians keep fighting the same battle because they will never start something new no matter how small.
“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing”
Isaiah 43:18,19
Don’t even consider the former things. Where in Genesis did you hear God mention darkness when He wanted to fix the earth?
He simply said, let there be light.
It was after Adam and Eve eat the tree of knowledge of good and evil that man began to be conscious of both evil and good.
Take for example, in the elementary level, we tell people, ” *you shall not die but live*,” when they become mature, we tell the same person, ” *choose life that you may live.”*
Once your eyes is single, your entire body will be full of light. Mathew 6:22
Or, how many times did you hear someone who is about embarking on a journey and all he or she is writing ✍️ are the roads he will not drive through.
He/she simply need only one road and the rest is cutoff.
In the realms of The Spirit, light travels on straight line. That is why the first way to discern the person who is walking in darkness is by identifying someone who branches everywhere to gossip about others.
Whatever you say about another which you don’t want the person hear, that makes the hearer think less of the person is darkness.
And you know the fruit of darkness is STUMBLING .
I received a call about 2 year from a sister after over 20 years. Very beautiful sister who called to apologize and asked for my prayer. She was still single at this time and I sincerely spoke and prayed with her.
I remembered when I was the president of the fellowship more than 500 members, she was trying to cause a problem, but I didn’t say a word.
“Curse not the king, no not in thy thought; and curse not the rich in thy bedchamber: for a bird of the air shall carry the voice, and that which hath wings shall tell the matter” Ecclesiastics 10:20
Even David was wise even when Saul as a king was misbehaving.
Light makes all things visible.
Don’t just put the old to sleep, put the old to death by starting the new.
Take that first step today. The hardest step is the most difficult one. To overcome that addiction, take the first step. To accomplish that dream, take the first step.
“But if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.”
Romans 8:13
Instead of you saying that THE NEW BEGINS WHERE THE OLD ENDS, WHY NOT SAY THE OLD ENDS WHERE THE NEW BEGINS
Prayer/confession: I can do ALL THINGS through Christ who gives me strength. My strength is not limited to me alone. I have a supply of strength that is endless.
Prophetic: Your first step into THE NEW will create space for you in the new. There is a space for you in the new one and only one step is the first requirement and the rest of your steps will be ordered by God. You are blessed.
