Text: Jeremiah 29:11.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares The Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you,plans to give you hope and a future”.
We all have plans for our lives. You may have five or ten years plans or short term plans and unforseen circumstances may not let you achieve or go through these plans.
But do you know that apart from the plans you have that God also has His own plans for you?
Yes He does!
Now ,I’m not saying you should trash your plans because God has a plan for you.
But what I’m saying is that you should align your plans with God’s plan.
Your maker who made you,who knows your ending from your beginning, whose plans is to prosper you and to keep harm away from you, to give you hope, that is, to keep you alive and give you a future.
Some people are just living by the day because they have been crushed and trampled on because what they had planned had gone wrong and they have tried again and again but it’s not working out and so they are living a hopeless life of taking whatever life throws at them.
This kind of life can be frustrating and suicidal. Jeremiah 33:3 talked about how God asked you to call on Him and He’ll answer and with a promise of showing you great and mighty things, part of which are His plans for you.
Draw your plans, lay them down in God’s presence while you pray and ask that only His plans for your life is what you desire.
Remember, you may feel lost and alone, but God is always with you. He knows where you are. And He has a good plan for your life.
Prayer:
Oh Lord, open my eyes to see what You have planned for my life and I ask for the grace to walk diligently in that path for my life to be meaningful and to glorify Your name in Jesus name. Amen.
