TOPIC: GIVE HIM NO REST
TEXT: ISAIAH 62:6,7
“You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent,
And *give Him no rest till He establishes*
And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.”
God is a personality who loves us to seek Him! That’s His nature. That’s how and who He is!
His majesty and His Glory demand attention!
The more we know Him, the more we know we don’t know Him!
He is inexhaustible, unfathomable, and unending!
Because He is loved personified, He loves ❤️ to be loved ????.
His love is unwavering and is more than sufficient to satisfy every human being who could ever be born; even if man continues to reproduce beyond time!
His kingdom and strength commence when time ceases to exist!
In the end of eternity(where there is no end, lies the beginning of His unending glory!
He is above the worship of man! Everyone who is proud lives outside of true worship!
Because He has no end, not seeking Him could be likened to reducing him to your level.
You have to seek Him early, everywhere, and in everything.
Whenever it seems your prayers are not answered, it is not because Satan hindered it, He ☝️just loved to see your face.
Songs of Solomon reveal emotional aspects of the existence between God and man.
“O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, In the secret places of the cliff, Let me see your face, Let me hear your voice; For your voice is sweet, And your face is lovely.”
Song of Solomon 2:14
He further reveals in His word that we will seek Him and find Him if we seek Him with all our hearts ????
Don’t start seeking Him, and then stop:
“Don’t excite love, don’t stir it up, until the time is ripe—and you’re ready . Song of Solomon 8:3-4
There are people who used to seek Him in the past who have now replaced God with ministerial itineraries.
Once you start to chase God, don’t stop seeking His face!
In the early days of King Solomon, 1 kings 3:3, the Bible says, ” Solomon loved The Lord.”
1 kings 11:4
As Solomon grew old, *his wives turned his heart after other gods,* and *his heart was not fully devoted to the LORD his God, as the heart of David* his father had been.
His riches and wealth finally flew away.
When God left him, read his records:
Proverbs 23:5
For riches certainly make themselves wings; They fly away as an eagle toward heaven.
They flew back to heaven where they came from.
David was smarter:
Psalm 27: 8
When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, LORD, I will seek.”
The only way to become relevant is to seek His face!
After 3 minutes of Prophetic Declaration for the Financial Miracles program on Tuesday, I started crying and Worshipping Him, asking Him to bless His people!
After about 30 minutes, He said, “Is that what you want?”
I was like, didn’t He supposed to know since He called for the prayers in the first place.
Anyway, I was happy because He promised to bless you and i!
God is not cheap! Seek Him!
The LORD is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you , but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.”
2 Chronicle 15:2
“I love them that love me” says The Lord.
It is not enough for you to just pray! Give Him no rest!
It is good to be prayed for by ministers of God. But when will God see your own face concerning the matter?
“And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him,
???? though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily .”
Luke 18:7
SEEK HIS FACE AND LET HIM KNOW YOU’VE GOT NO REPLACEMENT OF HIM.
