TOPIC: THE LITTLE THAT GOD NEEDED
TEXT: ZECHARIAH 4:10
“Do not despise these small beginnings,for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin.”
Do you know that whenever God breathes on you, whatever is in your hands becomes your advantage.
Sometimes, God is patient with His children. He wants you to engage your hands ✋️ with something of great quality before breathing on you.
Whatever your hand finds, do with all your heart. God is going to breathe on you.
It is not only what you do that brings wealth but the breathe of God upon it.
God specializes in using the little in your hands to produce abundance.
Don’t stay idle.
Jesus told a parable in Mathew 20: 3-7
And going out about the third hour, he saw others standing idle in the marketplace, and to them he said, ‘You go into the vineyard too, and whatever is right, I will give you.’ So they went. Going out again about the sixth hour and the ninth hour, he did the same. And about the eleventh hour, he went out and found others standing. And he said to them, ‘ Why do you stand here idle all day?’ _They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us .’_ He said to them, ‘You go into the vineyard too.’
If you really read this parable, you will discover that opportunities open per time. The disappointment of yesterday does not mean another opportunity will not show up tomorrow.
God is against idleness. From this parable, it appears those unemployed stood in the marketplace rather than at home.
When you take a step, God takes steps towards you.
Whatever you are asking God, after praying, position yourself right. There is always a vacancy.
The proof that you are ready is to do something.
Even if the money you need to start is only a percentage of what you’re expecting, start something with it.
See how Jesus handled the few loaves:
“They said to him, “We have only five loaves here and two fish.” And he said, “Bring them here to me.”
Mathew 14:17, 18
Jesus didn’t throw the 5 loaves and fishes away or ignored it.
If Jesus showed us the example, then we are to follow in His steps.
I pray these messages God had been sending us this month about our finances will produce results in Jesus name.
