TOPIC: GRACE
TEXT: 1 Cor 15:10
“But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”
Again, God keeps bringing the message of Grace.
There are two currencies you have access to:
1. GRACE
2. SELF
Either of the two you spend renders the second unvailable.
Today, we aren’t just talking about grace as unmerited favor, but Grace as the gift of God.
This is what God had been seeking to explain to you for years.
God gives you grace so you can lavish the grace upon Him.
That’s the whole essence of grace.
Whatever grace make of you is not for you but for Him.
If this is the only message you understand, you will finish well.
Grace is what God makes of you because of Himself.
Instead of God giving Himself a gift, He prefers to give you a gift so that you can give Him back
This is the same way that a good man will prefer to show how good he is by being good to his wife rather than being good to himself.
Whenever God wants to glorify Himself, He prefers putting the glory on us so that we can give Him back.
Mathew 5:16
“Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
That’s why whenever God lifts a person, whether financially or give influence, and they start to create less time for God or give reason why they stop doing what they used to do for God before…
If you used to clean the church toilet and you become a governor, will you still continue to do so?
If you can not answer yes, then you will never get there.
I wished God explained this message to me 20 years ago. Maybe I would have been up so high.
Do you know that some Christians don’t serve God or value God’s people immediately they travel out of their country?
