God sees Christ as the only one who can satisfy Him for our sin. His mercy is free for us but costly for God. His son took our place.
When God offered us mercy, His mercy is the forgiveness of our sins. God has not turned His back on you, and He will not give up on you.
All sin grieves God’s heart. But that will not separate you from the love of God.
When sin comes to us, what it’s trying to do is to make us sin against God, which can be likened to having an affair with someone else’s spouse right in his presence. Sin dishonor God.
