TOPIC: MANNA IN YOUR DESSERT
TEXT: EXODUS 16
“Moses also said, “ You will know that it was the Lord when he gives you meat to eat in the evening and all the bread you want in the morning, because he has heard your grumbling against him. Who are we? You are not grumbling against us but against the Lord.”
When the children of Israel journey through the dessert, they complain of hunger and God sent them a special meal called manna.
Because it was a dessert place, they were to go out every morning and gather the manner.
Now, the word “dessert” is not farfetched from the word “desserted”
Are you going through what appears to be a dessert, or do you feel desserted?
Tell God exactly to send you manna for that period of time.
In 2024, if your streets seem deserted, if no one is allowed to walk freely in the streets or buy food, ask God for manna but do not grumble.
The God of heaven and earth has not changed.
If He did that for 40 years, He can do it for you again and again.
The Israelites ate manna forty years until they came to a land that was settled; they ate manna until they reached the border of Canaan. Exodus 16:35
If something is going wrong now, and you find yourself in a very tight situation, ask God to send you manna.
If you believe God answered your prayers, do like they did and go out in the morning and do something!
Maybe you are asking: “Pastor, where should I go?”
Me: the children of Isreal were not given special addresses . They went out to do a ” pickup ”
PICKUP! PICKUP!! PICKUP!!!
It seems to me that The Holy Spirit lights up the word “PICKUP”
pickup what you abandoned project and start again. Pickup the your job, pickup your cv, pickup your complementary card…
Whatever God is calling you to pickup, just do.
NOTE: BEFORE THEY PICKED THEM UP, THEM BENT LOW!
THEY WENT DOWN FIRST AND THEN UP!
COME DOWN! CALM DOWN
THE WAY UP SOMETIMES IS THE WAY DOWN.
Contract will come, but you need to bring down your price a little.
The few of the people who charge more are Christians and not all have excellent touch in what they do.
Don’t lose opportunities because what you charge is too high.
Even The Bible says narrow is the gate to life.
Some company will start with little salary but will send you overseas after a while.
