TOPIC: STORY OF LOT
TEXT: GENESIS 13:3-18
Abram and his nephew, Lot, both prospered while living in the land of Canaan. Their servants began to argue over whose flocks and herds should have the little grass available.
To solve the problem, Abram told Lot to choose an area for himself and that he (Abram) would take what was left.
The choice that LOT made that very day has many problems inside.
LESSONS :
■ Abraham and LOT didn’t become enemies because of their servants. Do not let someone else’s problem turn to your own problem.
■ LOT was eventually evacuated out of Sodom. There are problems that will only be solved when you exit where God didn’t send you.
■ The day LOT and his family went out of Sodom, God rained fire ????
The sin of Sodom didn’t affect God, but it affected others. God eradicate whatever vexes the souls of His children. Separation from the world is what gives room for judgment. After the saints are taken from this world, the world will be judged.
■ The complete salvation of LOT and his family was
supposed to be in their consistency. Keep moving.
■ After LOT’S wife became a pillar of salt, everybody continued to move on. Even the children and the husband didn’t look back to check. Your pilgrim journey to your eternal rest is bigger than any relationship on this earth.
Don’t let the fall of anyone from faith cause you to discontinue your journey with The Lord.
