WHAT’S ALL THESE “BELIEVE” ABOUT?
Mathew 6:22
*”The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thy eye be single, thy whole body will be full of light.”*
I will always be grateful to God for speaking to us. I can’t thank Him enough.
Every day and in every church service, we hear the word “believe”
Light always shines to spot on something.
That’s why you hear word like,
“For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro…” 1 cor 16:9
Therefore, the word “believe” simply means how you think something will happen to you.
Most believers think God will help them to believe when they can actually believe.
The woman with the issue of blood did not listen to any message before she believed.
Let look at what she believed.
*”For she said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.”* Mathew 9:21
Am tired of seeing people pray without believing anything.
What do you believe will happen before you prayed?
If your inner eye is blank, your answer will be blank.
It will sound like someone going to fetch water ???? without any container.
Mathew 9:27
When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to him, “Yes, Lord.”
Your heart(inner eyes must believe something)
EVEN UNBELIEF IS A BELIEVE IN THE NEGATIVE
You have the power to believe.
Some believe that whenever they pray and God shows them the solution in their dreams, it is done.
This has been the way God relates with them.
The servant of Abraham believed the first lady to come to the well would be the right woman for Isaac(Abraham’s son). Therefore, he prayed to God with what he believed.
Why do you pray without believing anything.
Mark 11:23
“…and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
Read again: “BELIEVE WHAT HE SAYS.”
“HE WILL HAVE WHATEVER HE SAYS .”
The name of God was not even mentioned in the statement.
Some people believe that something evil will happen if they see certain signs, and it is always so for them.
The problem is that they rarely have one good thing they believe.
I believe that once I wake ⏰️ up to the light of the new day, I possess the entire day. The reason is that God who wakes me up to the light of the new day does so because He had designed something better than my yesterday’s experiences.
What do you believe about you according to God’s promises? What do you believe about your job? What do you believe about your marriage? What do you believe about what God will do for you before this month runs out.
Believing is letting God know us for one thing we stand for without shifting ground here or there.
“But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.” James 1:6
Those who believe don’t take no for an answer. You don’t say maybe God changed His mind.
God has no shadow of turning.
Psalm 27:13
“I believe that I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.”
