“The *Spirit Himself* bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,”
The witness is like evidence!
If you appear in a lawcourt as a witness, you must provide the evidence.
The Holy Spirit is a witness and He bears witness.
Who is our witness? The Holy Spirit
What is His evidence?
Himself
The evidence that the Holy Spirit gives is about us. The evidence is to validate we are God’s children.
The evidence is not in ma us who we are not; but to make us see clearly who we have been made by God.
He is called The Spirit of Faith, and also called Truth!
He put in us the knowing.
His presence in us is the assurance of our identity
He becomes in us and in our body what He wants us to know.
1 Corinthians 3:16
“Do you not know that *you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you* ?”
The answer is always within reach
Because He lives in us, we have the witness of the Spirit everyday.
We don’t need to tell Him to put the witness in us, He bears witness with our Spirit.
That’s His ministry! He gives assurance always.
It is our responsibility as Christians to find out what The Spirit hath said and is saying.
God says, “I AM THE LORD I CHANGETH NOT”
The question is no longer whether God is guiding us: it is about if we seek to know His guidance.
Wake up everyday knowing that, The Holy Spirit have so much to empty into your heart everyday, things pertaining to God.
Also intentionally ask Him what He had put in your heart everyday.
You will be surprised the number of answers the Holy Spirit had already put within your heart
