TOPIC: HOW TO KNOW WHEN YOUR PRAYERS ARE ANSWERED
TEXT: 1 John 5:14, 15
“If we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
And if we know that he hears us —whatever we ask, we know that we have what we asked of him.
The time the Bible prophesied is upon us. Our redemption draws near.
If there is anything that will give followers of Christ any consolation in this dark world where we shine as light, it is when we pray to our heavenly father, and we know our prayers are heard.
HOW DO WE KNOW?
That portion of our text says, “If we know that He hears us…”
The answer is found in the preceeding verse:
“If we ask anything *according to his will,* he hears us.”
1. ACCORDING TO HIS WILL.
2. THE FAITH FOR DOING GOD’S WILL IS ALWAYS AND READILY AVAILABLE
Faith is simply assurance!
If it is the will of God, you will have assurance within you concerning it.
“The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit…”
Romans 8:16
Our confidence is from the assurance coming from within and it is given by the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit gives assurance within us that what we ask is the will of God.
Once the assurance is there, definitely the evidence must be present whether we see it physically or not.
What you should not miss is the manifestation of the physical evidence.

Am fully in God’s plan as they unfold in God and as I remain steadfast, praying according to His will.
