“That the communication of thy faith may be made evident in the acknowledgment of every good work,
that is in you in Christ Jesus.”
I want you to understand that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are not fetched outside of The Holy Ghost whenever you have need of the gifts.
You must acknowledge that these gifts are in you because they are in The Holy Ghost who lives in you.
PROVERBS 3:6
“In all your ways acknowledge him l , and he will make straight your paths.”
Straight here means light. This is because light travels on a straight line.
I believe all the gifts of The Spirit are in The Holy Spirit and you can operate in any of the gifts if you yield yourself to Him.
Romans 6:16
Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey?
You can discern by the gift of The Spirit.
One way you can discern is by acknowledging in all your ways.
You acknowledge when you intentionally ask the Holy Spirit within you to help you know the difference.
If you want to know a thing, you must always ask The Holy Spirit.
For every situation, ask. If you want to know the interpretation of your dreams when you are awake, ask The Holy Spirit.
Mutter it in words or say within you.
No secret about that.

If you are not sure about someone whether the person is genuine or not, ask The Holy Spirit and He will shows you in His own special way you will understand.
