TEXT: ISAIAH 14:12-14
” How you are fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning!
How you are cut down to the ground,
You who weakened the nations!
For you have said in your heart:
‘I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;
I will also sit on the mount of the congregation
On the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,
I will be like the Most High .’”
Iniquity is what happens from within a person, which could make the person do what’s contrary to God’s order or authority!
” For you said in your heart…”
Because God is the father of spirits, He therefore judges thoughts , motives , intent , will , etc
The reason is because the reason for every action is far more important than the very act itself. The intent of the heart is like the spirit that gives the body directives to act that way.
Whether we are aware of it or not, God promotes or disciplines a person based on the intents, thoughts, and motives of his/her hearts.
In the Old Testament,
David cried, ” search me o God…”
The spirit of man is the candle of God, and it searches the inmost being.
In the New Testament, God says, ” Test yourself whether you are in faith ”
2 Corinthians 13:15
Just like you can check your blood pressure by yourself, test yourself!
Let Listen to the motive why you do what you do. If we all judge our motives before they get to action stages, we will not be deceived by what we perceived to be true.
Iniquity is actions in thoughts form. Except we deal with it, will eventually manifest no matter how long before we deal with it. Because out of the abundance of the heart
