TOPIC: WHO ARE WE DECEIVING?
TEXT: JOHN 5:2,3
“Now, there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.
In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.”
One word you can point
???? your finger to in these verses of the Scripture is ” WAITING”
These multitude WAITING for an angel to stir the water ???? and anyone who jumps in first was made whole.
A particular man was there for 38 years. He didn’t leave and then come back.
They all had to wait in that particular environment because the angel could come at any time.
Yesterday, God began to ask, “do my children really wait upon me?”
It is time for those who are named after Christ to stop deceiving themselves!
If God is Lord, serve Him. If Satan is your Lord, serve him.
Before the rapture of the saints, enough of surrounding ourselves with anyone who goes back and forth!
Our determination should be to live a life that pleases God and have our peace!
Some claim they are waiting on God for life partners, and they have girl friends and boy friends with whom they live together.
There are others who consult false prophets and diviners.
Intermittently, we show our faces and run back to our idols. Who are we deceiving?
Children of Satan obey their father well, but some of God’s children wouldn’t obey their father..
There are believers now praying to God for one or two miracles. Only time will tell what their true color would turn out to be when they receive the breakthroughs.
God is not to be mocked!
Nevertheless, the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “ Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”
