TOPIC:GOD’S PROMISES STAND
TEXT: 2 PETER 3:9
“The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think.”
God stands behind all of His promises, He has fulfilled His own part.
God will never be slack concerning His promises.
He doesn’t leave His part undone.
We are not the one waiting for Him to do His part. But rather, He is the one counting on us to do our part.
If you use the great salvation as an example, you would realize He had already finished the work even while we were still wallowing in sin.
It is the deception ot the devil to make us think we are the ones waiting for God.
This is the lie that has kept many Christians in one spot for years.
If God has finished His part, what then should we do?
God’s word reveals His parts. He already finished and our own part we need to obey.
Just as God’s word reveals His part in our salvation and also reveals our part(to confess The Lord Jesus with our mouth and believe with our heart that Christ was crucified, buried and ressurected
In every aspect of our lives, there is a revealed KNOWLEDGE about the parts that concern us that we should obey.
Consider the fact that there was nobody Jesus did a miracle for in the Bible that He didn’t ask them to do something.
This month, we shall be considering different aspects of our lives and what is required of us to do
