TEXT: JOHN 11:3
“So the sisters sent word to Jesus, “ Lord, the one you love is sick.”
Jesus loved Lazarus and his sisters knew.
When Jesus heard that Lazarus was sick, he stayed 2 more days.
“Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. So when he heard that Lazarus was sick, he stayed where he was two more days,”
John 11:5,6
Sickness comes with pains and Lazarus continued in pain until he died.
You may ask:
” What sought of love ❤️ was that?”
Jesus represents the image of the invisible God to us.
Whatever you see in Jesus, that’s how God behaves
Jesus said,
John 14:9
” Whoever has seen me has seen the Father.”
“So Jesus explained, “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself. He does only what he sees the Father doing. ” John 5:19
God loves us so much, but there is much more God wants to achieve through us and that is His GLORY
Jesus simply stayed 2 extral day so that He could have a situation through which Glory will abund unto God.
John 11:4
No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.”
We all live for His Glory! Ask the Lord to glorify Himself through what you are going through.
Good News: if you have experience delay, know that Glory is coming upon you
