TOPIC: LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP
TEXT: 1 Peter 1: 10,11
“…the prophets, who spoke of the grace that was to come to you, searched intently and with the greatest care, trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ in them was pointing when he predicted the sufferings of the Messiah and the glories that would follow.”
In old testerment, The Prophets prophesied about the grace God would supply through the Messiah!
They didn’t just prophesy, they searched intently with greatest care!
The reason was to find the time and circumstances that would make them know when the event was about to happen!
Because The Spirit of God can never be disconnected from His word, they searched both the scrolls ???? and The Spirit!
Most Christians have missed the greatest move of God in their lives because they did not know the time of their visitation.
After The Messiah had come and gone, the jews are still expecting their Messiah!
Anyone who takes away teaching ministry out of your life has taken the arrangements for your discernment!
Holistically, God integrated Apostolic with the Prophetic! You cannot have one and reject the other. They are like a coin ???? with 2 sides.
Pay attention to words out of the mouth of Prophets and pay attention to patterns out of the mouth of Apostles!
The matter of fact, true Apostolic is not self-driven but driven through the prophetic and aslo bringing balance and alignment to the prophetic!
If you study patterns, if you are careful about what The Lord said, you would not miss what The Lord is saying!
In some people’s lives, if they study well they will see the patterns that shows that, most of the times they prosper and rise in life was when everyone and everything failed around them.
Therefore, to be counseled by those failing around you is disaster! You will miss your own God-appointed time if you do that.
Isaac sowed in the land when nobody grew crops.
There are signs surrounding your own seasons!
These are the signs concerning the Messiah!
“For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground.” Isaiah 53:2
The dry ground could mean the dessert land of Isreal which signifies location.
It could also mean a time when hardships and famine was prevalent.
There are Christians today who had open doors in past years because they gave when things were so hard for them.
After they became so prosperous and they gave out of their abundance, they could hardly point to an open door.
Now that situations seem tough, they no longer give like they used to. They forget so quickly that, the time of famine in the world is their own season to sow.
Those who compare themselves with others are not wise.
