TOPIC: THE LEADING OF THE LORD
TEXT: Deut 30:11
” Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach.”
The only way leaders can allow God to lead His people is for leaders to let God lead them.
Anyone can lead, but not everyone can lead well. God is not physically present here on earth. Therefore, anyone who only leads based on his or her personal likes or dislikes will not give God room to lead His people.
Because everyone is a leader one way or the other, let God lead you so that those following you will not suffer ????????
One of the things I dread most is leading God’s people!
The question I had always asked myself was whether God allowed a decision or not. It isn’t the function of whether it can be done but a function of whether it ought to be done!
When we misrepresent God to those that we lead, He rarely pardons.
“But the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, “Since you did not trust in Me, to treat Me as holy in the sight of the sons of Israel, for that reason you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”
The Lord values His people whether they are perfect or not! Sometimes, leaders just have to keep their mouth close if they are not sure of what to say. Patience is not a weakness!
Are you a leader in your family? Are you a leader to your children? Are you a leader to your employees? Are you a leader of a community, state, or a nation? Do well to represent God to them.
It wasn’t only Moses and Aron that got the punishment but the entire generation that left the land of Egypt except Joshua and Caleb.
Leadership calls for soberness! A leader is not the one who preaches loud or well on the microphone. Neither is he/she the one who has exegesis of the word of God!
He/she is not even the one who writes a good post on Facebook or has more comments or likes on YouTube!
A leader is the one who follows in the footsteps of the master and does what He does meticulously!
I have said this again and again that I do not know any methods to finishing strong than to follow the Savior day after day! He alone is the finisher!
SAY WITH ME: ✋️Everywhere I find myself, i will let Christ reign! I will let Him lead me so that anyone following is led by Him until His Kingdom stretches from shore to shore!
