“You have not lied just to human beings but to God.”

The Bible says death and life is in the power of the tongue!
Death and life(not life and death)
It thus means that whatever you hear can cause something in you to die or cause something in you to live.
Some Christians who are teachable listen to a preacher, and because they carry contrite and humble spirit, the words kill the negative behavior in them.
Everything that lives to multiply dies first!
So, you watch life spring up in the very place of death
Whatever you are not dead to does not allow you to be alive unto God.
“Now see that I, even I, am He, And there is no God besides Me; I kill and I make alive;”
Deuteronomy 32:29
When the word is cutting off the unwanted in your life, it comes with pains.
So many dead are walking ????♂️ ????♀️ on the streets, who ran away with God’s surgical knives because of pains.
They are dead but not alive! They are in-between hot and cold.
They are half-baked!
God aptly described Ephraim as “ a cake not turned* ” – a cake burnt on one side and unbaked on the other side . Hosea testifies, “Ephraim mixes himself with the peoples; Ephraim is a cake not turned.” Hos. 7:8.
When the heart is rocky ???? the hearer is offended because of the word:
“they have no real root in themselves, so they endure only for a little while; then, when trouble or persecution comes because of the word, immediately they [are offended…”]
