TEXT: 1 PETER 5:10
” And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace , who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore you, secure you, strengthen you, and establish you.”
Why the sufferings?
“but if a man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God in this name.”
■ Suffering that is not approved
1 Peter 4:15
If you suffer, however, it must not be for murder, stealing, making trouble, or prying into other people’s affairs.
It is possible for children of God to have some problems in life because they interfere in matters they know nothing about.
Such suffering is not approved of God.
If a believer finds himself or herself in any of these wrong suffering, the only thing you need to do is acknowledge your mistakes and repent.
When the suffering you are going through is not as evil doer but for the sake of God and His kingdom, such suffering has an end.
After that, God Himself will settle you.
He is the God of all grace!
