TOPIC: WHAT GOD CALLS EVIL HEART
TEXT: HEBREW 3:12
” Beware, brethren , lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God”
One of the attacks of the enemy on a true child of God is to give the person a false belief system through experiences of life.
How does the devil accomplish this? The devil attacks a believer early in life by positioning so many wrong people along his or her pathway.
He orchestrates situations that are unpleasant to make such individuals not to believe even in whoever God sends.
What the devil aim to achieve is not just attacks the individuals but to create a belief system in such person so that he misses God’s appointed time.
“Philip went to look for Nathanael and told him, “ We have found the very person Moseso and the prophets wrote about! His name is Jesus, the son of Joseph from Nazareth.”
“ Nazareth!” exclaimed Nathanael. “Can anything good come from Nazareth?”
“ Come and see for yourself,” Philip replied”
John 1:45-46
Just imagine how many children of God have missed God’s visitations because they link someone’s appearance with someone who once did them wrong.
God can establish a program originally because of an individual, but the person refuses to show up.
Jesus originally was first sent to the jew but they did not receive Him.
Today, through the Gentiles His name is being glorified.
John 1:11, 12
” He came to His [c]own, and His own did not receive Him.
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.”
There is no one whom God will not give opportunities again to make right what the devil attacked in your past.
Do not let the devil build in you an evil heart called unbelief.
Such heart will make your explanation tenable, but drift you far away from God.
