JESUS- OUR PURPOSE
ISAIAH 53:3
” He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not.”
Jesus took upon himself our sin. He became that scapegoat. God actually saw him that way.
God took His eyes away from us. God no longer saw us as sinners. He saw Jesus as though he was the one who sinned.
ISAIAH 53:6
“and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.”
God didn’t spare His only begotten son. God did not reply to him when he cried, “My father, my father, why have forsaken me.”
ISAIAH 53:10
“Yet it was the will of the LORD to crush him.”
You have been freed from sin because Christ took it away. You have been reconciled back to God.
Father, we thank you for giving us your only begotten son. We know that He is coming back again and very soon.
On that day, sorrow will depart, and there will be peace at last. Am one of those who love His appearing.
If you appreciate His sacrifice over your life, you will live your life to please Him.
