Pride of life: SELFISH DESIRE TO BE SEEN OR BE NOTICED
Lust of the flesh: SELFISH DESIRE TO ACCEPT OR OFFER.
“And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.”
Galatians 5:24
Did you notice the scripture didn’t say ” those in Christ ”
It says, ” Those who are Christ’s” or those who belong to Christ.
To be Christ’s is to appreciate what He did for you on the cross. in exchange for that, you make yourself His slave.
This is why the best gift you can give to God is your heart! Your body and every part of your life obey your heart.
Therefore, your members will obey the one who controls your heart.
