TOPIC: GOD MOVES TOWARDS YOU!
TEXT: JEREMIAH 29:11
“For I have known the thoughts that I am thinking towards you.”
God draws closer to you through thoughts.
Thoughts are words and movements.
“You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though he was God,
he did not think of equality with God” Philippians 2:5,6
Your thoughts take you closer to the one you think about
God has been moving towards you, but you have been moving towards something or someone else.
This is why there has been no meeting point.
David was thinking about God all night.
Psalm 119:32
Throughout the night, I think of you, dear God
It is good to pray all night. It is more advanced to think about God.
Words are captured in thoughts.
When you have a generation of Christians who pray always and preach always without thinking of God, we give birth to another generation of immature and mere religious people.
That’s why Satan tries to camouflage as your own thought so that you will believe it is you and not him.
The state of the nation is the manifestation of the condition of the Church!
You don’t know the person you don’t think about
You gain no closeness with God if your thoughts towards God are not increasing.
Serve God with your thoughts also. You have the mind of Christ.
Your thought cristalises into action towards the one you think towards.
Nothing about God is in a hurry.
” You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You.”
Isaiah 26:3
There are different dimensions of God’s nature that He wants to infuse into us through thoughts.
Draw closer to God through your thoughts, and He will draw closer to you.
I hope you and I close the gap thoughts between God and us.
Your conversation with God has not commenced until your thought is flipped to face God and look Him in the face and not back him in your thoughts.
2 Corinthians 4:6
For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.
