TOPIC: THE ADVANTAGE (PART1)
TEXT: ROMAN 16:20
“The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you ”
God sees us as we are! God doesn’t behold imperfections! His eye perfects whatever He behold! Whenever you don’t respond back in the same way He is seeing you, God is ‘surprised.’
The word ” Be perfect as your heavenly father is perfect” doesn’t mean you should compete with God in Holiness. None as Holy as our God.
To be perfect as your heavenly father is means you respond to God is exactly as He wants you to respond back to Him because that’s how He is seeing you.
You see, there is something about the grace of God.
The word of God calls it the word of His grace.
“So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to ???? build you up and ???? *give you an inheritanceamong all those who are sanctified.” Act 20:32
For example, if God says do something(pray, forgive, sing, give, evangelise, start a business, apply for visa, break away from an ungodly relationship… )
Even one second to the time you obey that word by taking the first step, you may not feel any strength to do that.
But immediately, you take the first step, the grace is made available.
It is called ” THE WORD OF HIS GRACE ”
The grace is made available because of the word.
Sometimes, when you are most weak is when this happens. So, don’t consider yourself as non-qualified.
” Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” 2 Cor 12:9
This grace is able to build you up and also give you something to inheritance.
This is the advantage every believer(young, old, strong, or weak) has.
