TOPIC: GROW TO BECOME MORE LIKE HIM
TEXT: HEBREW 2:17,18
“Therefore, it was necessary for him to be made in every respect like us, his brothers, and sisters so that he could be our merciful and faithful High Priest before God. Then, he could offer a sacrifice that would take away the sins of the people. Since he himself has gone through suffering and testing, he is able to help us when we are being tested.”
One of the reasons God made Christ to look like us human before dying for us is to be able to feel what we humans go through.
The reason for this is that he might be a merciful high priest!
Christ didn’t just die for us, but he lives to intercede for us because he can feel what we go through!
That’s why whenever we pray in the Spirit, the Spirit of Christ prays through us and supplying comfort in the areas we feet pains.
Whenever you are faced with challenges bigger than you, pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus. Tell Him all you are going through and ask for His help.
Jesus is the mediator of the new covenant and merciful and faithful high priest.
“Therefore, he is able to save completely those who come to God through him because he always lives to intercede for them.”
Hebrew 7:27
PROPHETIC : This month, look for someone to sincerely help. Whenever we love unconditionally, God promotes us to gain more access to love more.
