competes for your loyalty over God.

HOW TO RID ONESELF OF IDOL
1. Introspection
2. Acknowledging and confessing it before God
Eventually, if you don’t acknowledge and correct them, God will orchestrate the situation around your life to kill that desire.
Pain is used by God as a reminder to never go that way.
In conclusion, put God first, giving him the honor and the glory He deserves.
