TOPIC: PRAYER IS NOT PUNISHMENT
TEXT: PSALM 50:15
” And call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me .”
God is not moved by any trouble. In fact, He uses trouble times to see whose strength we trust in.
So, when trouble time comes, God watches to see who you will go to for help.
He is happy we recognize Him as our source of help. Sometimes He waits for a time to see if we have a substitute instead of Him.
Once He sees that we don’t have any substitute apart from Him, He answers us speedily.
He boasts about Himself-beside me there is no other.
Prayer is not punishment, but rather, it is what makes God happily reward us.
