TOPIC: MY HOLINESS
TEXT: COLOSSIANS 1:21, 22
“And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight.
This morning, He asked me to write ✍️ on “MY HOLINESS”
God’s Holiness is His Glory! I.e if God would Glory in anything, He would Glory in the fact that He is Holy.
Exodus 15:11
“Who is like thee, glorious in holiness”
God’s holiness is more than an act of being blameless.
“to present you Holy and Blameless ”
The holiness of God means SEPARATE . This means you can’t find anywhere else.
1 Samuel 2:2
” There is none holy as the LORD: For there is none beside thee.”
When God, through Christ, made you a new creation, He made you a kind of being that never existed before. There is something in God that was crafted in you.
That’s why we will be separated from this world when Christ comes. If a believer doesn’t know he or she is created a new creation, he/she does what everyone does.
That is why He says in His word that this knowledge of the glory of God shall cover the earth as water cover the sea.
You must know you are different. That knowledge that God presented you as holy is the knowledge of God’s Glory.
Jeremiah 9:24
But let him who glory glory in this, That he understands and ???? knows Me
