God knew what we could never be or what we could never do on our own.

Therefore, He made Himself the answer that we need or could ever need. Through Christ, He became unto us the Savior.

The Savior is not just the one who helps us once in a while; he is someone who helps us all the way through.

It’s just like asking a little boy to carry a big table from one end of the living room to the other.

Because you know that the boy will never be able to carry it at all, you help the boy carry it, not just a few distance but to final destination.

God is not expecting the day will come when we will be able to do what He knew we could never do without Him.

What God says you can’t, just know you can’t. Attempting to do so is wasted efforts and time.

John 15:5

“for without Me you can do nothing.”

God will never train the old in order to become the new.

God didn’t help the old. He took away the old. He saved us from the old by establishing the new.

God condemned the old totally.

He sent His son to be the new that we need in us once we accept Him.

The new becomes more and more real in us as we believe, receive whom He has made us.

For us who believe, Christ is the new life and the new nature that we now are.

God is not asking us to become anything that Christ is not already.

All we need is yield to that new life.

The more we agree to the new nature in us, the more the nature makes us more like Him.

No good in the old nature.

After accepting the new nature, do not start the struggle with the old as if you are trying to improve yourself to become the new.

“If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation, old things are passed away”

The word of God didn’t say you are in the process of becoming the new. He says you are a new creation.

What you are today is not just because He made you a new creation, your awareness and acceptance of who He made you is what makes you what you are today.

This is summarized as OUR BELIEVE that’s why we are called believers

We are not just supposed to believe once and then start struggling with the old nature which is already crucified. We are to keep believing again and again.

Our righteousness is from faith to faith.

Romans 1:17

“For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith.”

The work of salvation is not your idea but God’s. You can’t complete salvation that started by grace in your strength.

The more you are aware you can’t, the more you depend on the grace of God, and Christ’s finished work, the more you become strong in grace.

Remember you didn’t get saved because God help your old nature improve. You got saved because you accepted the new nature.

The LIQUID in a bottle is what gives the bottle the name label on it.

Once the liquid changes, the name label changes.

Your physical body used to contain the old nature. Even though your physical body hasn’t changed, Christ emptied us of the old nature.

Christ emptied us of the old(sinful nature) and drank the cup of our sinful nature

He was convicted as a sinner because of the cup of our iniquity(old nature) he took.

Or why did you think Christ suffered. He became sin for us when he took our sinful nature in that cup.

” FATHER, LET THIS CUP PASS OVER ME .”

All your sinful nature and mine was inside that cup.

He died with our sinful nature. He was buried and on the third day, he ressurected in newness of life.

My dad had farm in those days when we were young. Before planting the seed, he mixed the maize(corn seed) with chemical(nuvacron) to keep off rodents.

Even though the chemical was poisonous, when those maize ???? ???? ???? finally grow and matured, the poisonous chemical no longer have effect on the fruit.

Our old man(human sinful nature) was buried with Christ and we rose with Christ in newness of life.

Romans 6:6,7

” We know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body of sin might be rendered powerless , that we should no longer be slaves to sin.

For anyone who has died has been freed from sin.”

God doesn’t save by love. God so love the world but many are not saved. Many even claim to love The Lord yet are not saved.

God only saves by grace

Grace is love demonstrated in action

You can only be saved if you believe all that God, through Christ accomplished for you and you receive it by confessing what He did for you.

It is by grace alone through faith.

And you must never stop believing all He did for you.

There are Christians who received Christ but they soon forgot after a while that it was by grace they were saved.

Now, they have resumed to struggling with the old nature that is no more except in their mind.

Accept God’s finished work again and start living the new life. You are not to do anything to earn it. That’s what keeps you humble and makes you so grateful to God.

Those who always try to earn it are proud of little good works and of their self righteousness.

Jesus spoke of the woman who was forgiven

Luke 7:47

“I tell you, her sins—and they are many—have been forgiven, so she has shown me much love. But a person who is forgiven little shows only little love.”

Those who feel they can never earn God’s forgiveness always grow in grace and they finish strong.

The father of the prodigal son couldn’t earn his father’s forgiveness. This is why he was celebrated as though never sinned.

I want to encourage you not to depart from God but to keep depending on Him, grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen ????????

Lean on His Grace from beginning till the end.

He indeed took away our sin!
