TOPIC: DIVINE COMPENSATION
TEXT: 1 PETER 5:10
“But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect , stablish , strengthen, settle you.”
Whenever God restores our losses, He always compensates us.
1. He makes us perfect. I.e we won’t make the same mistakes that brought the loss.
2. He establishes us. It means He will do what He says even if you are faithless… just for His name sake. That’s why praising God is vital in the season we are.
3. He will strengthen you. It means He will not allow you to lose confidence in yourself. Sometimes, the failures of the past could make us lose confidence in ourselves. Moses, who was a hero, made a mistake. He didn’t make it to the promised land. Joshua lost confidence in himself, and God strengthened him by telling him to be strong and courageous. He eventually made it to the end.
4. He will settle you. It means you will now have what you too can call your own. You will have your own children, business, house ????, and many more.
