TOPIC: BE EXPECTANT
TEXT: Proverbs 23:18
“For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.”
During the evening prayer session, suddenly, Pastor Banjo said the expectation of the righteous shall not be cut off.
Immediately, it seemed the scale fell from my eye as though I had never heard the scripture.
That’s the ministration of The Spirit!
If the righteous does not have expectations or has thrown his or her expectations away, there is nothing God will work with.
Expectation is not just what you think. Expectations come with action. For example, Elijah told his servant to go check for the rain.
Expectations of the righteous are not trial and errors; they are based on what God had already said in His word.
“For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven”
Psalm 119:89
The expectation of the person called barren is to go have a scan after prayers have been made for you.
The expectation of the one in need of a job is to package the RESUME and go out in the morning!
You: Pastor, to where?
Me: to any office.
You: What do I tell them?
Me: Tell them what you can do for them and what you have done well in the past.
After all, Abraham obeyed Gid and moved out of his father’s house when he didn’t even know where he was going.
Someone once said that EXPECTATION is the mother of MANIFESTATION
What are you expecting?
Take a step in that direction!
PROPHETIC: Loose the word. Let it come out your inside. Speak it continuously! Just as you don’t defend a lion. Let loose a lion, and it will defend itself. Don’t let the word of God depart from your mouth.
