DO YOU KNOW GOD?
JOHN 17:3
“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”
Two to three decades ago, teachers helped learners know a topic via explanation and with the use of diagrams.
Sometimes, they carry out experiments in the laboratory.
Today, the reason why a roadside mechanic may be better with repairs of cars than the man who studied mechanical engineering is because he learned repairs through a series of cars with problems.
He always participates whenever a car is being repaired.
How would a person know the God who forgives unless he asks for forgiveness. How will a person know the God who provides except there is lack. How would a person know God who heals except the body is sick.
How will a person know and relate to God’s Holiness if he is not morally weak.
You can’t know God outside of God. Whatever you are experiencing now, He is close to you as the answer to it. He is ever present help in times of need. Ps 46.
Whatever your experiences are now, you have one choice, either to seek to know Him or continue in your own way.
Ps 34:18
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.
If you show Him where you are, He will bring you to where He is.
Only in your time of adversity will you know The God who advances.
Don’t just pray to Him, don’t just call on Him, speak to Him. Say what you are going through and tell Him what you want it to be like.
ISAIAH 66:2
This is the LORD’s declaration. I will look favorably on this kind of person: one who is humble, submissive in spirit, and trembles at my word.
