TOPIC: MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS
TEXT: 1 Thess 4:11
“that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to *mind your own business,* and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you,”
Several years ago, The Lord said to me: “use your energy to channel your path forward instead of using the energy to widen your path.”
Energy don’t get destroyed; they only get converted from one form to another.
Be careful where your energy is directed.
Every energy flow yield results.
Conserve and convert your energy to the form that will bring your desired results.
God Himself conserves and converts energy into what is profitable.
When Jesus was beaten, God converted his stripes( into healing for us. By whose stripes ye were healed.
When crown of thorn was place on his head, God used that to roll away our curse.
When his side was piercedand blood gushed out, God use the blood that came out to wash our sins away.
There is energy in pains if you know how to convert it.
Conserve it first. Don’t turn pains to gossip.
“He was led as a sheep to the slaughter, yet he did not open his mouth.”
Jesus once told Peter to mind his business:
One day, Jesus was telling Peter to follow him. But while the conversation was going on, Peter turn about and started asking Jesus question about another disciple.
Then Jesus answered peter, “ If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me.
This is how so many Christians behave. They leave the issue God is dealing with concerning themselves and start discussing others.
God bless His word in your heart.
