TEXT: JOHN 5:9
“And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed , and walked ”
3 chains of command issued by Jesus: ” ARISE ” ” TAKE UP YOUR BED” and ” WALK”
When this man’s testimony was told, the Bible records that the man was made whole and took up his bed and walked.
The only physical evidence that reveals he was made whole before he took up his bed and walked is that he arose
How do I know? The Bible no longer mentions that he arose . Instead, it was written that the man was made whole!
Therefore, to arise means to be made whole.
After he had been made whole( i.e., after he arose from his sick bed), he needed to carry out 2 more commands(take up His bed and then walk)
Why the need to perform other 2 commands since he had been made whole?
This is why?
There is a miracle God had done in your life that is the open door for other miracles you expect.
If you experienced that particular MIRACLE, then other miracles are already tied to that. If Christ had given strength to arise(made whole), then the power to take up your bed and walk is free.
