“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man”
One of the ways to increase currency is by going for the one with the highest value and them do the conversion.
The first word(“and”) in our text is a conjunction. This Meaning, it has a link to a previous event.
The story before the verse is about Jesus when he was 12 yrs old. The parent left him behind unknowingly and later found him in the temple with doctors, listening and asking them questions.
It means that, at this age, his decision-making ability was beginning to change as his age and status changed.
Wisdom that comes by the fear of God must precede change of status!
Even though at age 12, he had power to make decisions, he gave them up and followed his parents for an increased favor.
Wisdom must come before change of status and change of status when managed with wisdom leads to increase favor.
There are Christians who lack the fear and wisdom of God. Once their status increases, they use it to produce sin.
If his status did not change from a jobless to a manager, he wouldn’t have slept with his secretary.
If God had not given him or her visa, those unclean acts would have not happened.
If God didn’t give intelligence and beauty, pride and arrogance would not have set in.
Show me a man or woman who had a change of status without the wisdom of God, and I will show you a person whose life is in disorder form.
The price of wisdom is far above robbie(money)
Wisdom is a principal thing.
When you possess wisdom instead of choosing a wayward lifestyle, the value of your currency will be high.
For example, if you walk into a mall to buy things, you will buy so much with little money if you use currency from a nation that is of high value.
Just like $, €, £ and other currencies do not possess the same value, wisdom from above increases your conversion rates.
Remember, you are an ambassador of Christ. Remember, you live in this world, but you are not of this world. With wisdom, it is good measure, press down, and shaken together.
When wisdom guides our affairs in the world where we shine as light, favor is converted unto us in an increasing measure.
