“When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had already been there a long time, he said to him, “ Do you want to be healed? ” The sick man answered him, “???? Sir , I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up”
What lessons would God have us learn from the man healed at Bethesda?
He had been in that condition for a long time.
His condition did not make him callous.
There is a popular say that hurt people hurt people.
But this man was a totally different man.
When Jesus showed up, even though he didn’t know who Jesus was and what he came to do, he used the word ” SIR ”
I have heard of people who disrespected important personality. When they finally find out who they are, they talk like ” *lam sorry, I didn’t know you were the one.”
This man lived 38 years in a getto where no one cares what happens to another, but he didn’t allow the getto behavior entered into him.
God knows how to locate those who don’t compromise.
This man had no stayed in the same location, believing his day would come one day.
And thank God his day finally came.
There are Christians who change constantly. Today, they are here. Tomorrow, they are there.
The man said, “I HAVE NO MAN.”
Thank God he didn’t say, “I HAVE NO GOD.”
There are believers who run ????♂️ to human as though they have no God.
We shall continue tomorrow…
