SPECIAL DEVOTION FOR JUNE 5, 2023
TOPIC: A DOUBLE-MINDED MAN
TEXT: JAMES 1:8
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
The end of the sinful nature is doubt in God the creator, doubt in the image of God, even in oneself.
When you pray and afterward doubt, it isn’t just because you don’t believe in God, but also you don’t believe in yourself.
A man cried out when Jesus asked if He believed: “Lord I believe, help my unbelief”
He believe in Jesus but he did not believe in himself.
Whenever a child of God prays with His own mouth to God Almighty and he or she doubts the prayer, it isn’t because the answer will not come but because unbelief inside of the individual gives room for 2 options.
Unbelief creates 2 forms of answer to prayer instead of one.
The regenerated heart talks like this:
“WHENEVER I PRAY ACCORDING TO GOD’S WILL, I BELIEVE AND THEREFORE I HAVE. WHY WOULD I NOT HAVE WHAT I PRAYED FOR WHEN IT IS ALREADY MINE.
The unregenerated heart creates another room in the mind called “IF IT DOES NOT HAPPEN, MAYBE…”
The regenerated mind thinks of God’s reply as YES AND AMEN
The unregenerated mind thinks of God’s reply as YES AND NO
The only condition for knowing that our prayers are answered is in
1 John 5:14, 15
” This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he ???? hears us . And
???? if we know that he hears us — whatever we ask— we know that we have what we asked of him.”
What we all need to settle concerning what we ask is
IF IT IS ACCORDING TO GOD’S WILL.
This is how you know if you are praying according to God’s will.
1. What is the word of God that represents the seed of what you are asking for.
If I ask: ” Do you know the incorruptible seed(word of God) that represents the picture of what you want to see as the answer to ur prayers?”
If you don’t know at least 2 ✌️ scriptures that backs what you are asking God, then you will have nothing because the enemy cofuse you !
God accomplishes everything on earth by starting with His word!
A generation that only says “my father, my father” *without telling God what is written concerning that situation* will wait long.
*Have you not heard that He exalt His WORD above all His names.*
*Why call me LORD LORD and do not the things that I say.*
*2* . *If you can not say with boldness that you desire that God answer you according to His perfect will, you will wait long.*
Why would a child of God want something that is not the perfect will of your father for him or her!
Most Christians who struggle with God’s will already have idols and what they want.
Do you know what the will of God means? *It means the pleasure of God. It means what God is excited and rejoices to give you.*
God is not going to sign on your own letterhead.
God is not going to build on the foundation He didn’t lay.
God is not going to finish what He didn’t approve in the beginning.
I have understood the will of God that I now enjoy it even when it doesn’t flow with my flesh.
Jesus was our perfect example. Listen to what He said when he came into this world and listen to what He said when he was leaving.
Hebrew 10:5
“Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said:
“ Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me;”
Jesus knew that the only reason he came to the world is to died for the sin of humanity.
When he was about to died, he still affirmed the same:
“Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” Luke 22:42
Do you know that those areas that some Christians suffer most today is that area they chose for themselves.
” If you are wise, you are wise for your own benefit; if you mock, you alone will bear the consequences.”
Proverbs 9:12
There is not a time like this in human history when the rate of divorce has increased in church.
And you still see singles who blocked ???? their ears ???? to God’s will because of the way they want their things done.
They don’t know what 2 years after the wedding would look like.
Trust in God with all your hearts ???? and lean not on your own understanding.
If you acknowledge Him, He will direct your path.
PROPHETIC : When i was completing this devolved, the Lord whispered that there are Christian women who feed(food) by engaging in immorality.
He says to me, ” GO AND RESOLVE THIS ISSUE.”

2. AGAIN, PRAY AGAINST DISSAPPEARANCES.

3. Don’t dance with the devil
There has been no time like now when the Authority of God is strong upon His church and upon us.
