*THE VISION I SAW*
*LUKE CHAPTER 17*
17. And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
18. There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
19. And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
After my time with The Lord, I tried to rest for a while. Then I saw a scripture as though written in the sky.
Immediately, I jumped up and opened it.
What could God be saying to us?
It is a totally bad character to be ungrateful.
I concluded in my heart that I would continually be grateful to God for everything He hath done for me and for the people around me.
If you really study the ministry of Jesus, most of the people who appreciate the great salvation He brought were not from Jerusalem.
The only time He received a warm welcome into Jerusalem was when they shouted Hossana in the highest.
A few days later, the crowd that said crucify him were not from another region but the same crowd.
*From my little experience, I have seen that money, fame, anointing, favor…etc can come through our relationship with people when nutured and preserved.*
Jesus asked a big question: *”WERE THERE NOT 10 CLEANSED, WHERE ARE THE 9.”*
Just know that the numbers of ungrateful people are more than those who are grateful.
Last week, I gave someone $2 from my wallet. Even though he is Muslim, he began to say thank you, thank you as though he was about to cry. Then, I was so touched that I opened my wallet and gave all the $7 left there.
He was speechless. Today, he came to me at work and said I brought a lot of things for you in my car.
He brought chicken 🐔 and so many items for me to celebrate Thanksgiving.
Life is designed by God for us to be grateful.
People can be tired of you if you don’t know how to manage relationships God brought into your life.
This same person began to tell me how he is fed up with so many people he has helped in one of the countries in Africa where he is from.
Sometimes, you see people struggle here and those who are in the receiving end are ungrateful.
Another white lady came crying to me about someone who repayed evil for the good she did. She was shedding tears 😢
In verse 39, even Jesus said:
*”For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’ ”*
I tell you, walk in the light when you have light.
We sometimes do not know what we have until we lose it.
If I send my driver to pick you up and drop you at your workplace, it is gratitude that will tell you to appreciate that driver by giving just a tip.
He will be so excited to go pick you up another time.
This is not even spirituality but part of home training.
Even farmland needs to be nourished if you must continually plant 🪴 on it.
When I was in Nigeria 🇳🇬, I harvested 🌽 in my farm 2 times consecutively during the dry season. I packed manure from poultry farm and used it to fertilize the land before planting the second time. I also use an irrigation system to water 💧 it.
The corn 🌽 produced for me regardless of the season.
Times are hard because people are ungrateful.
Hasn’t God done so much for you to praise Him for?
