*PAY AND TAKE*

*ISAIAH 55:1*

“ *Come, all you* who are thirsty, come to the waters; and *you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money* and without cost.”

In drive-through restaurants, there are 2 major windows. One is where you pay for what you ordered, and the other is where you receive what you paid for.

There is nothing that has no price tag on it. Even Jesus paid the price for our freedom, and that price is death for the wages of sin is death.

Sometimes, you see someone drive past the payments section to the second window because the payment is already done online or the customer has free coupon.

Nobody will just drive and collect orders without evidence of entitlement. It doesn’t necessarily have to be money, but there must be proof that you are entitled to what you came for.

Because Jesus paid it all, He asked us to come receive even if we do not have what to pay with.

However, He requires we present His coupon named Mercy.

This is how Jesus said it in *Mathew 9:13*

“But go ye and learn what that meaneth, *I will have mercy and not sacrifice.”*

You may not be able to pay the price, but if you show up with mercy, you will receive grace for help.

The only way to obtain mercy is to show up yourself at the throne.

Mercy is like pity or compassion. Pity doesn’t just flow from the heart of God towards you unless you present a serious condition before Him.

There are believers who would rather go to human and cry all their cries, but they wouldn’t go to God.

Even Christ cried to the father. You don’t bring your pains before God. That is why you have not been receiving mercy for help.

HEBREW 5:7-8

“During the days of *Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death,* and he was heard because of his reverent submission.”

Some turn their pains to fight, gossip, arguments, or murmur.

Mercy is always available. You are the one who don’t always show up before your heavenly father. The Bible says God is rich in mercy.

Mercy is what we all need. May you obtain mercy and find grace for help as you pour out your pains before your heavenly father.

Stay lifted.
