*GOD’S SOVEREIGNTY & PROVIDENCE (PSALM 115:3)*
*”Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him.”*
God has answered every prayer in Christ. That’s the reason why the scripture reveals that men ought to pray always.
In *Philippians 4:6-7*
“Be anxious for nothing, but *in everything by prayer and supplication,* with thanksgiving, *let your requests be made known to God;* and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and mind through Christ Jesus.”
In this age where believers swing from one extreme to the other, you either *see people pray without taking steps of faith to look for works to do* or you *hear people say, just work hard because you don’t need prayers.*
Some even say that because God is sovereign, whatever will happen will happen.
If our knowledge about the sovereignty of God causes us to pray less, we have not yet understood his sovereignty or prayer.
Providence does not make prayer optional or incidental, but vital and indispensable: Not because God couldn’t provide for our needs another way — God does all that He pleases.
However, He pleases the sovereign God to choose precisely and wisely by hanging many of his plans on the prayers of his people.
It is only the spirit of man that will sustain the weaknesses of his body.
If we do not pray, we limit the efficiency and the output that the sovereign Lord seeks and desires to birth in His kingdom on earth through our being.
Those who left the place of prayer will eventually cry out for help to those who pray in the days to come
Pray! Again, I say pray!!
Stay lifted.
