*CHRIST THE LIGHT*
*JOHN 9:5*
“As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
When Jesus said this, it wasn’t because of any situation, but it was because He knew who He was.
For a person to say, *”AS LONG AS…”* it means the past, the present, and the future was settled.
He won’t change from whom He was.
“As long as I am in the world, *I AM THE* LIGHT”
Knowing who you are is the only thing that doesn’t change.
Note I didn’t say who you are but knowing who you are.
If what you know about you is not who you are, your life will remain a constant wrong person.
Who you really are is how The word of God reveals you, based on the finished work of Christ.
Just as every manual reveals a product, the word of God reveals the new man in Christ.
This is not because you feel like it, but because you have been made like that.
There are believers in Christ who never for once believe who the word of God reveals about them.
They question the word because of their daily experience. You have to believe, and what you experience will change.
It is better to believe what God says you are than believe what your body and life experiences say you are.
Those who believe who the word of God says they are act like what they believe.
I challenge you this day to believe above sin, reproach, poverty, sicknesses, and fear.
