TOPIC: NOW IS THE APPOINTED TIME
TEXT: 2.Corinthians 6:2
“Now is the appointed time”
One of the greatest mistakes you can make is to see what the devil did, keep the memories, and make those memories fresh and updated in your life while you fail to acknowledge, see, or seek what The Lord is doing in your life currently.
There is a current work God is doing in your life. To deny that is like saying Jesus is the same yesterday and tomorrow but not today.
Jesus said, “MY FATHER WORK AND I WORK.”
He didn’t say, “my father WORKED, and I WORKED.”
Neither did he say, “my father WILL WORKED and I WILL WORK.”
Whatever God is doing, He is doing now in your life!
When you pray, what God does is show you what He is doing concerning that situation so you could do the same.
“Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, *the Son can do nothing by himself* ; he *can do only what he sees his Father doing,* because whatever the Father does the Son also does.” *John 5:19*
If you ask me if God is doing something in that situation, I will say yes because that is the TRUTH.
If you also ask how you could know what He is doing, my answer is ASK?
Most of the Christians who are suffering or weak today, it was because the devil lied to them, and they took the bait.
Some Christians will say I can’t hear God.
How do you know you can’t hear God?
Who told you? This was the question God asked Adam and Even.
Where did you get that information from? Everyone who is born of God already have God’s voice inside them.
Who told you that if you ask you will not hear? Where did the lie come from?
Mathew 7:8
“For everyone who asks receives,”
If God says ” EVERYONE” Why did you exclude yourself.
Once you start having a way of thinking that is not Biblically based, you will be giving the devil more access than you give God. That is flesh.
God calls you strong, not because of how you feel but because of what He knows He has ready for you. That’s how He called Gideon.
It does not take strength to ask.
” ye fight and war ,
???? yet ye have not, because ye ask not.”
James 4:2
Warfare is not what it takes to know what God is doing.
Almost every day, even while on the road and I have the opportunity to pray with children of God, I see what God is doing because I ask Him in my spirit.
I just tell them what God is doing, and that’s all.
Whatever God is doing is what He is saying. God’s acts and His word can not be separated.
Mark 16:20
“The Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed.”
There are Christians, after reading this devotion, will believe and start asking God what He is doing concerning a particular situation, and God will answer.
This is how we can bring everyone in the unity of faith; by them acknowledging the good thing in them.
It is not by power or by might but by my Spirit says The Lord.
When The Holy Spirit tells you want to do, just do.
“Pastor, how will The Lord tell me?”
Me: I don’t know. Why do you bother yourself with the “how?” Do you think or bother about how you will breathe in and out?
Every structure is in place, perfectly placed by God. All you need is to believe and respond.
John 6:28-29
Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent
