JOHN 5:4
“For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatever disease he had.”
Even before Jesus took the stripes, God had always provided a means by which people got healed supernaturally.
When Jesus went to this location, he healed one man, and also, he didn’t stop the whole process of healing that was at the pool.
One of the lessons we can learn from this is that God uses water💧 to heal.
The stripe of Jesus was a spiritual transaction that got us healed from the source of every sickness, i.e is sin.
How do I know?
Peter shed light on this in 1 Peter 2:24
“Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness— by whose stripes you were healed.”
Peter was addressing the depravity state of a sinful man who needed a cure.
The very source of sicknesses and diseases is sin after Adam and Eve sinned.
Whenever sin is dealt with, healing naturally happens. And when you talk of water, you are looking at a substance that is colorless, odorless, and tasteless.
That is why you must constantly ask God for mercy if you have a prolonged sickness that is not healing. You never can tell what sin might be responsible for that, directly or indirectly.
By praying on your water 💧 and drinking, God can heal you. Also, by praying on your water before you take your bath, God can heal you. The bible says, the prayer of faith shall heal the sick.
If you don’t have faith that God can use the water He created to heal, then you don’t even believe He can use anyone to help you.
1 TIMOTHY 4:4
“For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected (👉if) it is received with thanksgiving because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.
There are people who go about eating concoction and claiming God created that. No, man mixed that.
By nature, water is good. When you receive it with thanksgiving, consecrate it by the word and prayer, God uses it to heal.
