TOPIC: LIFE-GIVING SPIRIT
TEXT: 1 Corinthians 15:45
“The first man, Adam, became a living person.” But the last Adam —that is, ???? Christ—is a
???? life-giving Spirit.
A man’s gift opens doors for him, and brings him before great men. Proverbs 18:16
I love the Bible(the word of God) because it is the total counsel of God for life and for ministry.
Whenever the word of God is rightly divided and you live the word, there will be results.
The fruit of our knowing is in living it.
If you don’t live it, you don’t know it.
Now, Gift here is not just limited to your talents.
Gift is whatever is given freely.
The problem on earth started when men and women, children and old, began to attach a prize to what they received freely.
“Freely you have received; freely give.” Mathew 10:5-8
If your gifts(talents, abilities, services, etc. don’t make a way for you, it may be because you have created the rewards out of it all for yourself. It may also be that you gave and took it back with your words.
For a gift to make a way, it must be given freely without strings attached.
The word of God didn’t say you will make a way for your own self. It says your gift will do that for you.
God gave us His only begotten son and got us back to Himself.
That simply means that God calls you great. His gift(Christ) made a way for Him to have you(Great) to Himself.
God’s Gift made a way for God.
Christ himself was called LIFE-GIVING SPIRIT
The true definition of everything that carries God has GIVING inside.
If nothing is going freely out of your hands, if all you do is take freely, you have not completed the cycle.
” FREELY GIVE AND FREELY RECEIVE ”
