TOPIC: HOW DO YOU SEE GOD?
TEXT: ISAIAH 55:8, 9
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD.”
One way the devil attempts to draw us away from trusting God is by perverting our view of God’s character.
The devil asked Eve,
” has God indeed said you shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” Gen 3:1
The devil twisted God’s word in order to attack and distort His character.
The serpent ???? was simply saying to Eve, ” God is hiding good aspects from you.”
The serpent was twisting how the woman saw God by saying,
” What good is He really keeping back from you?”
She was deceived and believed a lie about God’s character.
The desire to sin was therefore aroused because Eve no longer sees God’s word as life, but she began to see God’s word as law that prevented her from accessing the good.
The devil uses the same strategy today; perverting God’s character before God’s children.
Those who believe the lie of the devil allow what they go through affect their commitment to what God says clearly in His word.
If you love ❤️ and know God, you would never do anything that hurts Him despite your challenges.
The Grace of God and His love be with you, keep you and help you in every challenge of life you may be faced with.
